Hello! This is Max. It is Friday, June 28, and I just finished Day 20 of my internship at Deprag here in Amberg. On Thursday and today, I worked in the Green Energy Turbine Department. Deprag’s Green Energy Turbines consist of a gas expansion turbine and a generator and convert waste energy from industrial processes into electricity. Deprag builds turbines in the power range of 5 kiloWatts to 350 kiloWatts. I began by learning about the construction of a 300-kW turbine using CAD. I then helped to construct and test several 300-kW turbines. It was exciting to take part in the hands-on construction of this impressive machinery. See you tomorrow!
