Hello all! My name is Max Troppmann. It is Monday, June 3, and I just finished Day 1 of my internship at Deprag in Amberg, Germany. Today, I toured the facilities of Deprag. It was fascinating to learn that Deprag produces nearly every component of their final products in site. I was very impressed to see the transformation of blocks of steel and aluminum into high-tech industrial tools. After my tour, I had the opportunity to work with Computer Aided Design, also known as CAD. Under the guidance of a seasoned engineer, I designed multiple objects using CAD. It was awesome to be able to observe both the design and the production processes under the same roof. See you tomorrow!
