Hello! This is Max. It is Friday, June 21, and I just finished Day 15 of my internship at Deprag here in Amberg. On Wednesday, Thursday, and today, I worked in the Digital Services department, where I was shown how the Deprag software for the tool controllers and for the customer portals is programmed. For the user interface, also known as the front end, Deprag uses the programming language TypeScript and the React library. For the storage and processing of data, also known as the back end, Deprag uses the programming language C# (C-Sharp) and the .NET (dot NET) framework. I had so much fun programming Tic-Tac-Toe in JavaScript and programming a calculator in C#. I also enjoyed learning about how the software team plans and manages its tasks using Azure DevOps. It was very interesting to learn about Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), which are interfaces that allow multiple applications to communicate with one another, and about JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), a data interchange format used to transmit data between a web client and a web server. On Thursday, I also learned about the Deprag Feed Module (DFM) that can automatically feed screws to both handheld and stationary screwdrivers. See you tomorrow!
