Hello! This is Max. It is Thursday, June 13, and I just finished Day 9 of my internship at Deprag here in Amberg. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week, I attended Deprag’s International Sales Meeting (ISM), a business meeting that Deprag Amberg, Deprag subsidiaries, and Deprag sales partners take part in every 4 years. On Monday and Tuesday, I attended several presentations about new technologies and developments of Deprag. On Wednesday, I joined other conference attendees in several workshops, where I was able to interact hands-on with Deprag machinery, such as the Deprag Grinding System and the Deprag Feed Module. It was an incredible experience to meet international Deprag leaders and representatives from Germany, France, Mexico, the United States, China, Malaysia, India, and other countries around the world. It was also very enlightening to speak with them in German, French, Spanish, and English and to learn about their country-specific business practices and challenges. It was impressive to see how the Deprag network spans the globe. Today, I continued working in the screwdriver design and testing department, where I tested and repaired several electric screwdrivers. See you tomorrow!
